Search and Query Overview

This course is designed to give an overview of the various ways in which you can search for data in MarkLogic. It will cover the basics of the Search API, as well as the CTS API the Optic API and SQL and SPARQL. It will also cover the various ways in which you can access these APIs, including REST, JavaScript and XQuery. It will also cover the various indexes and lexicons that are available to you to help you get the most out of your searches.

This is a high-level course designed to help you make the best choices both in terms of APIs, indexing, lexicons and in some ways, how you might model your data. With this course, it is expected that you will further experiment and draw conclusions after the duration of the course
