OverviewAPIs

MarkLogic provides a rich set of APIs for various purposes. This course will cover the basics of the MarkLogic APIs. We will do this in broad-strokes, covering the basics of many APIs and in some cases(such as XDMP) break them in large categories. This is meant to provide a good understanding of what is available - allowing you to see what you might use when implementing. Because many APIs are specific to certain functionality, this course has a side-effect of providing a good overview of the functionality available in MarkLogic.

Learning Objectives

  • Explore many of the APIs available in MarkLogic.
  • Understand the purpose of each API.
  • Where applicable, understand how they might be different in server-side Javascript vs xQuery
